MITCHIES JETTY SALTY SWIM

Are you in for the WinterSun Salty Swim?! Great prizes to be won, as well as bragging rights that you did it! Join the bold and the brave and hit the water for the 100 metre splash n dash from the spit to iconic Mitchies Jetty.
It’s good wholesome fun. And warm up afterwards with delicious coffee and pastries from the crew at Mitchies Espresso Bar or a bbq breakfast from Merimbula’s Marine Rescue.

JETTY TO JETTY LAKE SWIM
$30 pp registration
Be a part of the third WinterSun Jetty to Jetty Lake Swim.
The Jetty to Jetty is a 1.2km competitive lake swim from Mitchies Jetty to Spencer Park Jetty and back. Swim starts at 10.50am and registrations and check ins from 8.30am.
A portion of your registration fee will be donated to 2 great local clubs, Pambula Surf Lifesaving Club and Marine Rescue Merimbula.

STREETFEST ON MARKET

Live music starts at 12pm and finishes around 7pm, showcasing the toast of the coast and surrounds(see below for more). Groove away the afternoon with food, beverage and festive vibes as local legends, Longstocking Brewery pump out the brews alongside Breakfast Creek Vineyard, Nine Circles Distillery, North of Eden Gin and Grand Matriarch.
Food is taken care of with delicious hot fresh pizza from Sapphire Coast Eats, boutique catering from A Pinch Of Yum, paella from Cranky’s, bbq delights from Southtown Smokehouse, Waratah Chocolates, waffles, popcorn and Doughies Doughnuts and more.

WINTERSUN WHARF TO WHARF CHALLENGE

The Wharf to Wharf Walk is a journey through history, crossing the ancient lands of the Yuin people, between two historic wharves on the Sapphire Coast.
In 2024 there will again be both RUN and WALK categories. With runners departing Tathra Wharf as the sun rises at 7:09am and walkers departing soon after at 7:20. Please advise category on booking form.
The walk celebrates the incredible beauty of our coast, taking in rugged cliffs, spectacular headlands, secluded bays & long, isolated beaches. But you won’t have time to stand still in awe and contemplate all of that, as this is a challenge, not for the faint hearted. Sapphire Coast Guiding Co will set the course, provide maps, markers and (maybe) moral support but mostly, you and your buddies will be on your own as you traverse the trail. Start from historic Tathra Wharf. Complete this 27km adventure by 2.30pm and be in the running for great prizes for those that are first across the line.

It takes a village to put on an event like this and we’re so thankful to the raft of generous, local businesses that truly support out town and our festival.
